The Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood Education

Empowering Leaders. Equipping Teachers. Honoring God.

You Are Our Why

Why We Do What We Do

We believe professional development is most powerful when it supports educators and brings teams together around a shared vision. Our trainings are thoughtfully designed to be practical, relevant, and aligned with each center’s goals — creating confident educators, consistent practices, and positive outcomes for children and families. This is professional development that continues to make an impact long after the day ends.

More About Us

Our Story

The Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood Education began as The Savvy Solution in 2019, during one of the most uncertain seasons our field has faced. What started as a focused effort to support aspiring business owners grew into something more meaningful. We had the opportunity to walk alongside child care programs as they navigated staffing challenges, operational pressures, and evolving expectations — offering guidance, encouragement, and practical support along the way.

As our work expanded, so did our vision. Over time, The Savvy Solution evolved into The Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood Education — a name and mission that reflect who we are today. We are dedicated partners in strengthening early learning programs through intentional professional development, thoughtful collaboration, and a commitment to excellence that supports educators, leaders, children, and families.

Level 3 - Approved Ohio Instructor

With nearly two decades of experience in early childhood education, our lead facilitator brings depth, insight, and perspective to every professional learning experience.  Her background spans classroom teaching, program administration, and center leadership — including supporting start-up programs and leading a multi-site expansion.  Beyond local leadership, she has also served as a regional coordinator for an intercultural child care program, providing guidance and oversight to families, au pairs, and paid volunteers across multiple states.

Holding a Master’s in Business Administration, she brings a rare balance of strategic thinking and people-centered leadership to her work. This combination allows her to support early childhood programs not only in strengthening day-to-day practices but also in building systems that foster long-term growth, stability, and excellence.
