The Consulting Process
What to Expect Along the Way
Starting a consulting journey is a big decision, and it should feel encouraging—not overwhelming. That’s why we’ve put together a simple guide to show you what to expect, so you can step in with confidence and peace of mind.
Step 1: Discovery Call
Our journey begins with a friendly, no-pressure conversation. We’ll talk about your child care program, your current challenges, and your long-term goals. This is also your chance to ask questions and see if our approach feels like the right fit for you.
Step 2: Choose Your Program
After our call, you’ll decide which model best fits your needs:
-
Ongoing Consulting – Six one-on-one, virtual sessions for steady support and accountability.
-
Onsite Intensive – A focused, hands-on option where your childcare consultant spends 4 half days in your center, observing, collaborating with your team, and providing immediate strategies tailored to your environment.
Step 3: Intake & Assessment
Next, we’ll gather important details about your program. This may include reviewing your current systems, enrollment numbers, staffing structure, and parent satisfaction. The goal here isn’t perfection—it’s clarity, so we can identify where support will be most valuable.
Step 4: Goal Setting
Together, we’ll create clear and realistic goals that align with your vision. Whether it’s improving enrollment, strengthening staff culture, or refining day-to-day operations, this step ensures that our work is tailored to what matters most to you.
Step 5: Getting Started
Once you feel comfortable and ready, we’ll begin our coaching or consulting sessions. From here, you’ll receive ongoing guidance, accountability, and encouragement as you put new strategies into action.
